Question: Could I put a voiceover of Pearl and Grizz's dialogue on YouTube? I ADORE their dynamic and I think it'd be fun to read for them! Plus I'm trying to get practice with voice acting and they use a wide range of emotions that would be PERFECT to practice with!
This is so good arghhh loved the 2.5D and the aesthetic and the graphics and the character designs + personalities are so good... Plus the sprites are so expressive... Oh my god easily one of my faves
Really fun game!! I really liked Pearl and the contrast between how ditzy and smart she was at the same time, and Griz is a charming straight man, which is especially funny considering that SHE'S the serial killer here.
I like the style and character of the game, though I have some criticisms. One, Pearl becomes a bit unlikable because she increasingly seems less like a "quirky misfit" and more of a "sociopathic killer". She just seems really eager to kill (or help in the killing of) an innocent person without much justification or reason behind it. Second, the MC bear guy just... kills for fun? Or kills cause he has to? It's sorta implied he does it for money, but it's not really elaborated on. I guess he's just a generic serial killer? Could do with more on his backstory.
